Wing Founder Survey: Remote, What's Next

Wing conducted a survey of 303 startup CEOs and founders from September 27 to October 10 to understand the next-level issues in remote and hybrid company-building. We covered topics of leadership, culture, diversity and inclusion, productivity and employee data, compensation, and the next normal. Takeaways include:

1. 80% disagree with Reed Hastings' comment on remote being a pure negative.
2. Most respondents indicate a neutral impact of remote to diversity and inclusion.
3. The ‘Next Normal’ will see a substantial shift from office to hybrid and remote.
4. 57% of respondents with 50+ employees are collecting employee data to measure productivity today, and 58% of those are getting useful metrics.
