Sam leads a core element of Wing’s Founder Success Platform by building Wing’s network of technology leaders and connecting them with Wing portfolio companies as advisors, customers, and partners. He also works directly with portfolio companies on their go-to-market efforts.
Sam brings a two-fold approach to network-building between prospective customers and Wing’s portfolio companies. He employs a customer-first mindset, and cultivates a deep understanding of the client perspective. That affinity for and understanding of the technology-driven companies and leaders in our network, paired with his hands-on work with Wing startups, ensures both parties find a phenomenal fit.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on robotics at MIT, and was a member of honor societies Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma. He went on to join Apple as a product design engineer. In his three years on the audio products team, Sam helped develop the first-generation models of the AirPods and AirPods Pro, and is named on several patents across those and other products.
He then received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and joined Bain & Company in San Francisco after graduating. At Bain, he focused on tech strategy and growth equity investment diligence.
